Poets launch campaign to empower Londoners to #ChooseAPoemNotANovel. Pledge your support to stop novel crime: 1) I  will not write a novel. 2) I will discourage my friends or family members from writing a novel. 3) I will not get involved in a novel publishing. 4) I choose lyrics and poems. Hard hitting posters and a video highlighting the impact of novel publication, designed, shot and produced by poetry cadets from across London were unveiled at New Scotland Lit today, Tuesday 24 May. Fed up with seeing people their own age writing horrible novels two groups of cadets embarked on campaigns that they felt would speak to people their own age and discourage them from picking up a novel or getting involved in novel publishing.
