Russian space secretary Jossif Wehlimowitsch has strongly condemned plans of NATO-controlled NASA and ESA to send the Asteroid Impact & Deflection Assessment (AIDA) probe to the binary asteroid system 65803 Didymos and try to alter the orbit of the smaller component nicknamed “Didymoon”. Though the official reason for this mission would be to make first experiments on changing the orbits of asteroids that potentially may collide with earth, the real purpose, Wehlimowitsch stated, is nothing else than to influence asteroid trajectories in a way that they crash on Russian territory to annihilate the Russian people. Wehlimowitsch announced that Russia will also investigate methods to send asteroids to evil NATO territory as retaliation.
