Vladimir Putin’s press secretary has rejected reports that the Russian president is ill as rumors, adding that the news itself are a result of “Western madness” among some reporters. “No need to worry, everything is pretty ok. The president is busy working on his new novel ‘Light and Darkness’, which addresses the holy struggle of Russia against the evil powers of USA and EU. For this work, Putin has decided to have a two-weeks sabbatical at a secret location,” press secretary Thomitry Wehlimkov said on Thursday in an interview with Echo of Moscow radio. With a bandaged right arm, Wehlimkov added that the president is “absolutely healthy” and that “his handshake is so strong he breaks hands with it.”
